Just a very few minutes ago, I actually put in the order for my very own "Big Damn Replica" of Firefly Serenity ([link]). Not sure just what the lag will be between that and when I will have it in my greasy little paws, but the bullet sweating portion of the process is finally behind me, so everything from here is pretty much gravy. From the long wait while they went through the process of creating the templates and mock-ups, to the constant vigilance required just to make sure I got my name on the waiting list, to wondering if I was going to be one of those who made the cut, it has been an excruciatingly tedious process, punctuated by just a whole lot of hand wringing. But, at long last, it is now official. My very own Serenity is within weeks of being delivered to my door.

I've made lots of promises, but this one for sure I will keep. As soon as I get her here, I will make sure the little woman takes pictures of us together and I will most definitely post those. After all.. how else am I gonna gloat?
